About Me

Amy Holtcamp has worked as a theater director and playwright for 15 years. She has directed at theaters in New York, Seattle and across the South. Amy is a graduate of Vassar College and holds an M.F.A. in Directing from the University of Washington.

When she’s not working, Amy can be found covered in paint and sawdust with her husband as they renovate their “new” 1930’s bungalow. A devotee of all things delicious, she is thrilled to be living in the land of barbecue, grits and boiled peanuts. She also is a passionate traveler who tries to approach everyday life at home with the same fascination, sense of humor and curiosity that she does when traveling to faraway places.
